Get familiar with college admissions test requirements. Research the SAT and ACT. Understand the difference and scoring for both tests. Take the PSAT given at high school. Begin studying for the SAT and ACT.

Take SAT or ACT again. Check to see if you qualify for fee waivers.

Narrow college choices. Know application deadlines. Check on early decision or early action options.

Prepare college admissions essays and request letters of recommendation from teachers.

Complete the FAFSA in October and have sent to colleges you will be applying to.

Complete college applications.

Apply for all available scholarships. Watch the Guidance Department's monthly newsletter for all new scholarship applications. Listen to school announcements for scholarship announcements. Have someone review all applications and essays before submitting.
